So Happy

Every once and a while John sends me little pictures like this while I'm at work. It makes me incredibly happy.

Language Explosion

I wish I could get her to do it for the camera, but Amaya has what feels like a thousand new words, and her tiny little voice is just amazing.

First words:

wow

awa = agua

bup = book

uh-oh

mom (not mama, not mommy)

dad (not dada, not daddy)

bob (every stuffed animal was bob for a while)

shhhhhhs = shoes

baby

bottle (pronounced so clearly it was kind of creepy, like a talking doll)

New words:

avacado (I'm not kidding, although it has a lot of african sounding clicks to it)

galleta (cracker/cookie in spanish, and some times it comes out galleteta, or another random amount of syllables)

trapo (rag/cloth in spanish)

apa = tapa (lid in spanish)

stista = Lisa
