First Steps!

So Amaya has been historically unmotivated with her mobility. She finally got around to really crawling at about a year, started to enjoy walking (while holding our hands) a few months ago, walked with her little wagon (all by herself) two weeks ago, and last night she took her first step on her own!

So excited, so depressed. I changed my mind, I want her to stay my little baby forever.

Learning by Example

Awhile back Amaya noticed another baby in the grocery store sitting like this in her cart:

Ramifications

So awhile back Amaya and I were working on the concept of "inside", since she loves to unload her basket of toys/socks/anything I thought maybe we could work on filling them back up. Well, she got it, and she extended the concept to the toilet. Lovely flying Koala and John's little alarm clock now intimately know the inside of the toilet. I confirm, that's flying Koala and an alarm clock, not poop.

John took some pictures this weekend and snapped a few of Amaya also. There were many that were really great shots, and I will post more, but this one cannot wait. Ho-ly cow. Can I make this picture any bigger please?
