Sedona

We drove up to Sedona last week before Jena finished up her maternity leave. The drive and first couple hours there were miserable. Amaya and Lilia were both tired and hungry and whatever else that makes kids terrible traveling companions. On our list of things to do in Sedona was checking out some of the vortexes but that turned out to be a disaster. We decided to head home earlier than planned but we found a cool little place on the side of the road that had tons of interesting uh, everything, as well as awesome smoothies. That made it worth it.

Summer Continued

We bbq-ed for father's day and it was delicious.

Amaya walked around saying "I wanna kiss the girl".  John accused me of teaching her Katy Perry, uh hello John, try The Little Mermaid.

Summer

Utah

We took a much needed trip up to Utah and saw family and caught up with friends. It was fantastic. And a bonus for the trip: it wasn't 104° like it was back home (it was still hoodie weather in UT - yes!). Yes, a lot of close ups of Amaya but you can see more pictures of the trip here.
